In October 2024  vandals  set fire and almost destroyed the seat placed in the Community Orchard on Heaton Moor Road leaving visitors no place to sit awhile and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area.The only things not burnt were the metal legs!
We are pleased to report that two volunteers from Yetton Together have managed to restore it. They have  replaced the burnt slats with new ones  and spray painted the metal struts (financed by Yetton Together) with just in time for the Spring weather thus allowing people once again to be able to enjoy the place.
Let’s hope it lasts much longer than the last one!
