Puzzled by this photo? It was taken at the seat on Cockley Hill Lane with the wonderful vista across the valley below to Castle Hill. The soil and plants in the field are the contents of Yetton Together’s two planters which are sited there so people can enjoy them while taking in the view. Seemingly over Friday night someone got a bit bored and thought it fun to roll both tubs over the wall into the field below smashing the wall and fence in the process.! It’s a real hotspot for vandalism – only a couple of weeks again the two central plants disappeared and we are constantly replanting/replacing flowers which have been pulled up by their roots and discarded. The planters are now being refilled and will be put back in the next week or two so please keep an eye out for them.
