Kirkheaton Community Centre is in an old stone Victorian Infant School opened in 1882. It has recently been renovated and has 4 hireable spaces – the Community Hall (carpeted), a smaller Community Room, small Meeting Room and Library space. The building is also the home of Kirkheaton Library.

The centre is accessible to all via a ramp to the automatically opening entrance with space to park disability scooters etc. There is a fully accessible toilet with baby changing facilities (not DDA compliant but adequate for all including wheelchair users)

BASIC RATE
1 hour – £15
2 hours – £30
Sessional rate for longer than 2 hours is £30 + £7.50 for each additional hour eg 4 hours hire is £30 + [2 x £7.50] = £45

DISCOUNTED/COMMUNITY* group rate
1 hour – £13.50
2 hours – £27
Sessional rate for longer than 2 hours is £30 + £6.50 for each additional hour eg 4 hours hire is £27 + [2 x £6.50] = £40

* Discount for community groups is at the Trustees@ discretion but will usually be applied to groups run by volunteers with no regular paid tutor with very few exceptions.
