After a break due to Covid, St John’s Christmas Tree Festival was back on the second weekend of December. Every year local people, voluntary groups and businesses are invited to decorate Christmas trees that in some way represent themselves, their group or business, for display at the church. It’s a very community orientated affair with local singers and musicians invited over the weekend to perform for those attending the Festival, and simple food and drink is available. This year saw even more imaginative and colourful offerings. [see photos]
