After a year the planning applications for 95 houses off Cockley Hill Lane are back on the agenda and the council are yet again seeking your views so get writing!

The two planning applications for housing development off Cockley Hill Lane have yet to be decided by Kirklees. The applications relate to adjoining sites and have been submitted by the same applicant for a total of 87 [57 + 31] dwellings – seemingly a reduction of 7 on the original application. The two sites would share the same access on to Cockley Hill Lane.
The Council has decided to take them both to committee at the same time. The statutory public consultation period has reopened and you have until the 26th October to make your comments,  Go to: Kirklees.gov.uk/planning and search for applications 2021/91507 and 2021/92527
