Thanks to a grant from Kirkburton Parish Council and additional funding from YT, a defibrillator has been installed on the front of the Community Centre. This means there are now three located in Kirkheaton – at the Cricket Club, surgery [only available during surgery hours] and now at the Community Centre.

It is not fully operational as yet as we are waiting for the Ambulance Service  to commission it . There will shortly be a request for volunteers to train in the use of the machine (will post soon) – this literally is a life saver.
