Kirklees have received a new application for the proposed housing development on the old mill site on Shop Lane.

Comparing the two plans the most significant change seems to be at the top of Orchard Road with the removal of the 7 houses proposed on the old garage site and changing it to a landscaped area thus allowing residents of Doctor’s Row etc to continue to park on the land in front. A number of other changes are proposed – mainly re the siting of the houses on the old mill site itself.
