Have you seen the hanging baskets in Kirkheaton?
They look fabulous at the moment and brighten up our area and most are totally funded by the community.
The 20 gondola type baskets cost over £1200 (including watering contract) which is wholly paid for by members of Yetton Together”s 200 Club. [An additional 6 baskets situated on New Road are funded by Kirkburton Parish Council]
Membership costs £12 per year, per number, which is entered into a monthly draw with the chance to win up to £50. One number gives you 36 chances of winning a cash prize throughout the year (2 numbers gives you 72 chances!!!) as well as ensuring next year’s hanging basket display. The new session [which pays for nest year’s baskets] starts in September. So why not JOIN THE CLUB! The more members the more baskets we can finance.
