Over the weekend of 14th and 15th December Kirkheaton residents were treated to the annual Christmas Tree Festival at the parish church. Over thirty colourful and imaginative trees decorated by local groups and businesses were on display. Some were done by groups that are based at Kirkheaton Community Centre – the Family History group, Yetton Together, Knit n Natter and Kirkheaton library volunteers. Visitors were entertained by a variety of musical offerings from  choirs, recorder groups etc throughout the two days.
