Post Office is planning to re-open Kirkheaton Post Office at a new location – Costcutter, 1 Moorside Road, Kirkheaton, Huddersfield, HD5 OLU.

This full-time branch will open on Tuesday 12 July at 9am. This will restore a full-time, permanent, Post Office services to the area.

The opening hours  will be Monday – Friday: 9am – 5.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.

This will offer 46 hours of Post Office service a week for the convenience of customers.

The Mobile services will cease on Thursday 7 July at 10.15am.

Tajinder Khehra, Post Office Network Provision Lead said: “We are delighted to soon be restoring a full-time, permanent, Post Office to this area as we know how important a Post Office is. This full-time branch will be convenient for customers to visit.”

We are keen to restore this branch to the area as soon as possible, so we have decided to go ahead with our plans.
