On a recent Saturday night in November MURDER came  to Kirkheaton Community Centre! It transpired that a local Councillor had been bludgeoned to death by a giant marrow! Diners at the CC were invited to muster their detective prowess and help the police to identify the killer.

But fear not – it was all part of an elaborate plan perpetrated by The Emley Players – a group of amateur actors who raise money for their community by holding Murder Mystery Evenings. Alas the diners didnt prove to be very good sleuths and only a few suspected the real murderer but a good time was had by all.
