During last Autumn a good day out was enjoyed by our Community Centre’s Knit & Natter and Creative Craft Groups* to Yarndale in Skipton. Not a new, hidden dale, but an annual creative festival celebrating all things woolly and wonderful.

It is well known for its exuberant displays of Worldwide Creative Projects bringing a heart-warming visual celebration of colour, community and creativity – all courtesy of  over 180 makers, craft workers, retailers, and artisans.

*Knit and Natter met on Thursdays in the Centre from 2 til 4pm and it does what it says on the tin!. All welcome and knitting is not compulsory! £1  Refreshments available

*Creative Crafts meet on Saturdays 10.30 -12.30 Here crafters share their skills and creativity. There are occasional demonstrations of new crafts and visit to exhibitions. A chance to discover a new craft while making new friends. Refreshments available
