Our restored seat in the Community Orchard on Heaton Moor Road managed to last just over a month before it was once again  vandalized! After it was set on fire last October two volunteers kindly replaced the 5 slats which had gone up in flames

Last week sometime someone removed one of the slats at the back. They must have worked hard to remove it as the screws used to fix the slats were of a special type which required a specialist  tool. We assume it has been taken for a purpose as it looks as if the perpetrator has taken it away! Each new slat costs over £50 to be replaced!
